The CorpMem Advantage toolkit contains utilities that provide functionality that is either not native to MAGIQ Documents or provides advantages over native functionality.
Do you need the CorpMem Advantage?
The Digitisation Disposal Utility is used with the Digitisation Disposal Process developed by CorpMem Business Solutions. The purpose of the utility is to remove the Barcode field and Box Number field values from the Document Additional Meta Data Custom Property Sets that are added to the documents that have their hard copies stored in a container specified in the Custom Property Set’s Box Number field.
Box2Box records the movement of documents from one box to another box by updating the box number field in the MAGIQ Documents Additional Document Meta Data Custom Property Set (CPS). This can be used for a wide variety of reasons. One reason is to move the contents of one or more partially full boxes into one box to make space.
Scan2Box has two functions. The first is to move a document to a box by scanning the barcode. The second is to help with boxing Digitisation Disposal records. Scan a barcode and if the barcode was found, MAGIQ Documents will be updated to record the document has been placed in the box.
MultiDex is a tool that helps users index documents with terms that will enable them to be found more easily in the future. The terms with which the documents are indexed, are recorded in the document’s properties in the Keyword section in MAGIQ Documents.
Shortcut is a utility that simplifies the process of creating a shortcut to a document in MAGIQ Documents and automatically moving the shortcut to the desired folder and updating the shortcut description with the description of the document. Navigate to the desired folder to place the shortcuts in is found. Check the folder or folders in which you want to place the shortcuts in. If multiple folders are checked then the shortcuts will be duplicated in all folders.
The Auto Close utility allows users to cut off multiple folders at the same time. Auto Close knows which folders are eligible for closing by looking for folders that have an Anticipated Close Date custom property set and determining if the Anticipated Close Date is greater than the date entered into the earliest anticipated close date field and less than today provided Auto Close is set to true.
The Name and Address Register Manager allows you to import an extract from your organisation’s official NAR into MAGIQ Documents for use in correspondent information custom property set lookups. It also provides a facility to manage and consolidate correspondent information metadata applied to documents.
